Life drawing Mid-Term Progress

So far this semester in Life drawing I have been getting back into the drawing 'swing of things'. For me, drawing means looking at objects in a different way, a 3 dimensional way. I have learned to take my time, look closely, and start drawing very lightly! The light part has been very hard. Gesture drawing in class has been the most helpful for me.

In the last half of my time taking Life drawing I would like to work on my line quality. After spending so much time trying to 'go light' it will be nice to get more variation in my thickness and depth. No matter what happens in the next part of the semester I know I will have been sketching ability that will be useful in the future. I am certain that my drawing skills have improved and that they will continue to.
