Learning to draw slowly is very hard for me. My process consisted of covering my hand and drawing blind. As you can see from the multiple drawings it was hard to slow down and draw all the details. I tried to follow both the outlines and the inner wrinkles and lines, but after a while would pick up my tool and start over again.
